New Zealand (Aotearoa – land of the long white cloud), is truly one of the most picturesque and photogenic places on earth. A small island nation of just over 4.5 million people, New Zealand is one of the last countries in the world to be settled. It is made up of some of the world’s most spectacular landscapes, from vast mountain ranges, steaming volcanoes to sweeping coastlines. It is a natural playground for thrill seekers and adventurers and those who simply want to visit for the culture and landscapes.
This 12 day program (10 days in country) gives participants the opportunity to explore the most magnificent and youngest country on earth while engaging with local people, cultures and communities. The program provides opportunities to visit a high school, explore the environment, experience the Maori culture, debate global issues, and enjoy a range of outdoor activities.
