One of my greatest dreams during childhood was to be able to see and experience real snow, who would have thought that it would come into reality! Thanks UTP for being a tool on making this dream possible.
Dreams are not so far away, If its not in-front of you, look behind you! Just always remember that life has no rules, Go Beyond The Borders and find yourself.
At first I felt hopeless of returning since the Internship Program for non-hospitality degree holders like me was quite competitive. I waited two (2) years before going back. The journey of getting here wasn’t easy. But you have to be positive and patient. All of this paid off because of UTP. So, thank you UTP!
I chose to join the program through UTP again because of their quality service. They made my US Internship program application so quick and smooth. My advise to the next generation who wants to pursue international program, make yourself ready cause being in International program isn’t easy but fulfilling. You must always be willing to learn but have some time to enjoy and experience things that you can’t do in your home country.
I joined the program because I know that it would greatly help me as a fresh graduate to gain experience in my field of study. Having an international program will be my stepping stone towards my future career upon my return. I encountered a lot of challenges but because of all the learnings from this experience, I know I can face them. I learned to work hard, manage my time well, improve my outlook and attitude, value the friendships made, and how to strengthen my faith. I chose UTP because they provide quality and hassle-free service.
Joining this program made me a better person. I discovered myself and learned about other cultures. For me, choosing the right agency is the most crucial first step. UTP provided quality service that benefited me.
Being in this program, made me learn the value of hardwork and the importance of dedication and commitment. There may be struggles but I learned how to stand up and face these head on. It has prepared me for the real world.

For the initial interview, sponsor interview, and employer’s/host organization interview, you need not go to Manila. Usually, all these interviews are done either through Skype or phone. For the VISA interview, yes, you are required to report to the US Embassy for the interview.
UTP sends in the list of available positions upon your application. However, these openings change weekly as slots are filling in fast. As much as possible, it is best to be flexible if you want to be placed ASAP. There is no guarantee that the company and/or location you want to work with have openings.
There is a slim chance that you will have your internship with your friends because it will depend on the opening and everyone’s performances in the interview. Positions for this program is globally competitive so having the program with friends is not an option.
The time is indefinite because it depends on the employers if they have checked and reviewed your requirements. We usually follow up after one week of no initial feedback.
It usually takes three (3) to seven (7) working days. It depends on the bulk of work of the employer.
