The Study and Work Canada program is for anyone who has the motivation and goal to complete, continue, or restart their education anywhere in Canada.
UTP offers two type of programs:
∙Post-Graduate Work Permit Program – allows students to apply for a post-graduate work permit after the study program.
∙Co-Op Program – the work component is already embedded in the curriculum. Normally this is a 1-year program (6 months of studying and 6 months of industry experience).
UTP offers placement in various universities across Canada. The program is fully customizable depending on your preference and financial capacity.
You can study anywhere! We have more than 200 school and university partners across the country most especially in Ontario, British Columbia, and Alberta.
It is dependent on the university. Other universities that do not require IELTS may require an alternative English assessment document such as an online English Assessment result (e.g. Duolingo) or a certification from your university confirming that English was the medium of instruction.
Yes, you may work part-time for a maximum of 20 hours per week.
Yes, show money is required to prove that you are capable of financing your studies and your cost of living in Canada. The amount varies. Contact UTP on the specific amount of show money and how to provide such.
We work directly with a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) to ensure that documents for visa application are complete and would have a higher chance of visa approval.
We can also fully customize your program depending on your preferences and/or financial capacity.
Even before you apply, we will provide possible school options for you based on your basic information sheet. It will be indicated in the recommendations whether it is PGWP-eligible or a Co-Op program.
It is not a requirement to be vaccinated but as a company rule, we will only accept those who have been vaccinated against COVID-19 since the insurance will not cover any COVID-19 related issues of an unvaccinated individual.
